Be the Boss of the Bike

Master the art of adventure riding with this immersive 3-day off-road training program led by Jocelin Snow. Designed for riders of all experience levels, this course builds the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to handle large-displacement adventure motorcycles in real-world terrain.

Jocelin’s approach emphasizes mindset and confidence—what’s happening between your ears—as the foundation for successful adventure riding. From there, riders develop practical techniques that translate directly to safer, smoother, and more capable riding on and off pavement.

Who This Program Is For

Jocelin Snow’s training is built around the core idea: be the boss of the bike—mentally, physically, and mechanically.

This training is suitable for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. It is ideal for riders new to off-road riding on larger adventure motorcycles (650cc+ recommended), as well as experienced dirt riders looking to improve their control, confidence, and technique on heavy ADV bikes.

Program Structure

Days 1 & 2: Focused Training

$1500

Training begins with Jocelin’s signature mindset and confidence work, skills that carry over to everyday riding in all terrain and conditions. Riders then build a strong technical foundation, including balance, body position, peg weighting, clutch and throttle control, enduro steering, and effective braking.

As the course progresses, riders work on advanced techniques such as hill climbs and descents, off-camber terrain, hill-fail recovery, obstacles, and towing. Training takes place on varied surfaces including water crossings, sand, gravel, ruts, mud holes, rocky sections, and poorly maintained roads, with a strong emphasis on safety and smart decision-making.

Day 3: Full-Day Immersion Ride

$225 (as class add-on)

On day three, riders apply everything they’ve learned during a guided full-day adventure ride through challenging off-road terrain. This immersion day allows for real-time coaching, terrain analysis, and skill refinement under Jocelin’s guidance. Riders may also have the option to connect via Cardo Bluetooth devices to receive instruction while riding.

Teaching Style

With over 40 years of experience riding everything from race bikes to fully loaded adventure motorcycles, Jocelin brings a rare blend of skills to her instruction. She’s not only a former AMA 250 GP racer and BMW GS Trophy competitor, but also a longtime mechanic, certified BMW off-road instructor, tour guide, and BDR board member. Her approach helps riders break mental barriers, understand their machines, and apply solid fundamentals in real terrain and real situations. The result is practical, transferable skills that make riders more capable, calm, and in control on large ADV motorcycles.

Known in the ADV world as the “pint-sized powerhouse,” Jocelin’s ability to command big bikes—and teach others to do the same—has earned her a global reputation as one of the most respected instructors in adventure motorcycling.
