This Privacy Policy explains how GRIT Moto Adventures ("GRIT," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit gritmotoadventures.com, contact us, book or inquire about tours, training, lodging, or rentals, or otherwise interact with us (the "Services"). It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of California, Utah, and other U.S. states, and how to exercise them.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you use the Services:

• Identifiers and contact data you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of messages or inquiries you send us.
• Booking and inquiry details, such as the tour, training, lodging, or rental you are interested in, your preferences, and information needed to respond to you.
• Newsletter and marketing data, such as your email address and subscription preferences if you sign up.
• Internet and device activity collected automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.
• Online identifiers and advertising data, such as cookie identifiers and campaign or click identifiers (for example, UTM parameters, Google click IDs, and advertising platform click IDs) used for measurement and advertising.
• Communications, including records of your interactions with our forms, live chat, email, and phone.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or health information) through this website, and we ask that you not submit it through our forms.

2. Sources of Information

4. Cookies and Tracking

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies, grouped into the following categories:

• Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function, stay secure, and load reliably. This includes hosting and load-balancing cookies from our host, Microsoft Azure, performance and diagnostics through Azure Application Insights, Google reCAPTCHA for spam and abuse protection, our live chat tool (Tawk.to), our booking and reservation tool (Flybook), and the cookie that stores your privacy choices. These are always active.
• Analytics. Google Analytics, provided by Google, helps us understand how visitors use the Services.
• Advertising. The Meta Pixel (provided by Meta) and Google Ads (provided by Google) support advertising and remarketing.

Analytics and advertising are on by default. You can turn them off at any time using the Cookie Preferences control, the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser that sends them.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as website hosting and development (Deploy Vision), email and newsletter delivery (Mailchimp), live chat (Tawk.to), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), booking and reservation services (Flybook), and form processing. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
• Advertising and analytics partners. We share online identifiers (such as IP address and device, browser, and cookie identifiers) and activity data with analytics and advertising partners, including Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta, to measure our Services and to deliver advertising and remarketing across other sites and platforms. This activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law and "targeted advertising" or a "sale" under Utah and other state laws.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of GRIT, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell or share personal information in exchange for money. We have not sold or shared the sensitive personal information of consumers.

6. Sale or Sharing and Your Choices

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising at any time by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer, by turning off the Advertising category in Cookie Preferences, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. Your choice is stored on the browser and device you used to make it, so you may need to repeat it on other browsers or devices or if you clear your cookies.

We will verify your request by confirming information we already hold about you, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

10. Children and Minors

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without the opt-in consent required by California law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
